Change

The summer’s trip was not quite what we expected. The trip hade  a total turnaround when our traveling companions had to go home because a close relative.

Sophie and I decided to drive through Europe to see some more of the places we usually have only driven past.

Further, you can  read about the jorney on the complete jorneys section.

More Route

Have received several requests for more precise way. We still have not decided exactly the way this time but it will be much like the map below.

Roadmap:
Sweden-Germany-Czech Republic-Slovakia-Hungary-Romania-Bulgaria-Greece-Macedonia-Albania-Montenegro-Croatia-Slovenia-Italy-Austria-Germany.

The only country that can give a little hassle is Albania. Albania is still relatively closed to tourists. This is changing fast so I think if you want to experience the unique  Albania  take the opportunity to go now.

Route

This is the planning so far. (See image).

The itinerary route  may change a lot. However, it will roughly look like this.
Total distance around 10000km and we will pass approximately 15 countries.

Only one week left

Hi !

Now it’s only one week left before we go.
We have booked the ferry from Trelleborg, and will run through Germany
on Sunday to avoid the worst freight traffic.

The car is prepared and  maps purchased.

We will attempt to keep this page updated via satellite link.

Planning stage

We have changed our plans significantly compared with the planned trip to Jordan.

Instead, we spend more time in South East Europe. We will probably start with a ferry to Poland and run down to Slovakia-Hungary-Romania-Bulgaria and then into Turkey. The goal is somewhere into Asiatic Turkey. Then we turn west and we will either run through the Greek islands to western Greece or round the Aegean Sea.

From there we go into Albania, Bosnia-Montenergo-Krotatien-Slovenia-Italy-Austria and Denmark home by Germany.

We will try to keep this page updated throughout the voyage.
